This guide covers how to reset a forgotten password and how to change your current password in Brigade Telematics.
Resetting a Forgotten Password
If you've forgotten your password, follow these steps:
Step 1: Access Password Reset
- Go to the Brigade Telematics login page
- Click on "Forgot your password?" link
- You'll be directed to the password reset page
Step 2: Request Password Reset
- Enter your username (the one you use to log in)
- Enter your email address (registered with your account)
- Click "Reset password"
Step 3: Check Your Email
- Open your email inbox
- Look for the password reset email from Brigade Telematics
- Click the reset link in the email
- The link will open a new page where you can create a new password
Step 4: Create New Password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm your new password
- Click to save
- You can now log in with your new password
Important Notes
⚠️ Clicked by accident?
- If you requested a password reset by mistake, simply delete the email
- Your old password will continue to work
- However, if you click the reset link in the email, you MUST create a new password
⚠️ Security tip:
- Password reset links expire after a certain time
- Don't share your reset link with anyone
- Use a strong, unique password
Changing Your Current Password
If you know your current password and want to change it:
When Password Change is Required
Some users are required to change their password on first login. If this applies to you:
- After logging in for the first time, you'll see a password change prompt
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm new password
- Click to save
Changing Password from User Settings
If you want to change your password at any time:
- Click on your username in the top panel
- Select "User Settings"
- Go to the "Security" tab
- Find the password change section
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password
- Confirm new password
- Click "Save"
Password Requirements
When creating a new password, make sure it:
- Is case-sensitive
- Contains a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols (if required)
- Meets your organization's security requirements
Permission Requirements
Note: Not all users have permission to change their own password. This depends on your account settings configured by your administrator.
If you cannot change your password:
- The option will not be available in your settings
- Contact your service administrator for assistance
Two-Factor Authentication
For accounts with two-factor authentication enabled, you may also need to:
- Verify your identity via email or SMS
- Enter a verification code when changing your password

- Use the "Remember me" option only on personal devices
